Information we handle

Depending on how you use the service, we handle the following information:

• Account information: your Google account identifier and email address when you sign in.
• Courseware content: video files, lesson titles, selected frames, transcripts, outlines, and related processing details that you provide or create.
• Credits and purchases: your credit balance and purchase records. Card and payment details are entered with the payment provider and are not stored by this courseware app.
• Technical information: sign-in session and temporary security cookies needed to authenticate requests and protect the service.

How we use information

We use this information to sign you in, store and display your lessons, process videos and transcripts, maintain credit balances, complete purchases, provide support, and protect the reliability and security of the service.

Service providers

The production service uses Google for sign-in; Vercel for hosting, private media storage, and background processing; Turso for courseware and credit records; Cloudflare Workers AI to transcribe audio extracted from videos; and Creem for hosted credit-pack checkout when payment is configured. The site also requests typefaces from Google Fonts. These providers process information needed to perform their services.

Local guest preview

In local development preview, sample lessons and edits are kept in your browser. You can upload a video file or paste a public YouTube link; the video is downloaded with a local yt-dlp tool on the developer machine and transcribed with a local Whisper model. Uploaded or downloaded videos, extracted frames, and lesson content are stored in browser IndexedDB and are not sent to the production courseware database. Clearing browser site data may remove this local content.

Storage and deletion

Production lesson records are associated with the signed-in account. You can delete individual lessons in the courseware library; this removes the lesson record and requests deletion of its stored media. To ask about account or privacy requests, contact us by email.

Cookies and analytics

The production app uses HTTP-only cookies for sign-in and short-lived OAuth security checks. We do not currently add an analytics or advertising cookie feature to this courseware app.
